His Story

Born in Kansas we moved to Florida when I was four. I grew up playing soccer and basketball and enjoying our kid friendly neighborhood. In high school I discovered I was a good runner and turned that into an acceptance letter at Columbia University. New York? How could I say no to that? It is an amazing place to live in your early 20s, so much to do and see and coming from a college town in the south, was eye opening to the diversity of the world. I graduated with a degree in computer science but quickly changed my career path to user experience, which simply means I test how people use things and try to make them better.

Moving to Los Angeles 10 years ago gave me a new start and I fell in love with the weather, though I did have to learn to relax more. Los Angeles is definitely more laid back than New York. There have been ups and downs over those years but now I find myself living in a beautiful home in Westchester with a cat, a dog, and an incredibly beautiful woman named Corrie who has somehow agreed to marry me. Daily I am awed by her commitment to others and excellence in everything she does. It is both inspiring and intimidating which means I will be challenged by someone to grow whom I love and loves me. What could be better in life?
